The United Anti War Coalition, which was founded 15 years ago to gather forces to oppose all U.S. wars, called at that time for an end to all U.S. aid to Israel. We see the real threat to regional and global peace comes not from the sovereign actions of Iran and Yemen, but from the genocidal, murderous imperatives of the United States and its Zionist ally, Israel. Iran pursues a peaceful nuclear program for energy security and economic progress under international law; yet U.S. and Israeli regimes distort its objectives with fabricated intelligence, extremist rhetoric, and aggressive military planning designed to force regime change and impose maximum-pressure sanctions.
On Palm Sunday, Israel bombed the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza—crippling vital health services—while U.S. forces escalated their campaign in Yemen by targeting hospitals, factories, and water infrastructure near Sanaa. In Yemen, Ansar Allah demonstrated resolute self-defense by downing the 19th U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone, a powerful rebuke to imperial aggression.
